NSW Blind team wins seventh-straight NCIC title

Last month, the New South Wales Blind and Low Vision team went to Perth in search of their seventh-consecutive title win at the National Cricket Inclusion Championship, facing teams from each state. The week was full of personal milestones and NSWBC records, with the first female wicket for NSW at a championships being taken by Courtney Lewis and the first B1 century for NSW being scored by Lincoln Muddle.

NSWBC were tested each game but through some beautiful performances and great teamwork they were able to walk away victorious. The grand final showed an outstanding display by Steffan Nero 141 (44), Matt Cameron 74 (32) and Stephen Palmer 43 (21), which would give NSW a comfortable platform to bowl and field well against South Australia. NSW won the grand final by 75 runs.

The Taverners would like to congratulate NSW on taking home their seventh NCIC title.
