Vale Diana Fisher
It is with great sadness that we learnt of the awful news of Diana’s passing last Thursday. Diana was an outstanding human being who will be dearly missed by all who knew her, especially at the Taverners where she was a founding member both nationally and in Sydney.
Diana was at the forefront of raising money for the Lord’s Taverners for almost 40 years, and was the steadfast rock on the committee helping organise events, sell tickets and coordinate the raffles. Diana wouldn’t take no for an answer, and with her vitality, enthusiasm and gregarious personality she carried everyone along with her. Diana also contributed by supporting other charities and events over the years, having an indomitable spirit that was much admired and will be dreadfully missed.
Much loved always and I know I will miss her mentorship, suggestions, advice and her ability to always challenge the status quo, but also not least, Diana calling me “My Darling”.
Rest in Peace.
