Induction Dinner for our National Ambassador-elect, Adam Gilchrist AM

Our branch has been honoured to be chosen as the branch to conduct the Induction Dinner for our National Ambassador-elect, Adam Gilchrist AM. This will be a glittering occasion in the Steve Waugh Dining Room at the famous Sydney Cricket Ground. Tickets are still available.

Our National President, Paul Sheahan AM, will induct Adam into this new role, but only after Adam has been interviewed at length by former ABC journalist and presenter, Kerry O’Brien, most famous for his anchoring of the programs the 7.30 Report and Four Corners. Kerry’s research will almost certainly reveal some hidden facts about Adam and seek his responses!

But in addition Paul Sheahan, together with Cricket Australia CEO James Sutherland, will have some very special announcements about the future relationship between our two organisations.

Finally, there will be an auction of that wonderful portrait (below) of Adam, painted by Ballina Artist, Brett Below. (Prints of the portrait will also be available for purchase.)
